Things to know about Iran Trotter-10

The Iran Trotter host Javad Qaraei has made so many interesting tips about the show and himself, in response to journalistic questions in interviews with local media outlets.

In the 9th installment of the series, you read about how it all started. Here is part 10 of his comments.

After 15 years of travelling across the country to the farthest places in the wilderness and after having known the people who live deep in the nature and the variety of ethnicities all around – in fact, we’d made friends with them – I thought it was time to unveil the hidden beauty and inform people of such an invaluable asset.

But how could that be possible while there was the possibility of nature being destroyed and culture being invaded by the tourists?

I tried to do some culture-building and find such spots, i.e. the travel and tourism attractions. That took me 10 years of journeying while I was most of the time away on a trip.

The locations had to enjoy several qualities in order to get my green light. I’m a fastidious person and I had a difficult job ahead as a filmmaker.

In the next installment, you will read about the criteria he had in choosing the filming spots.
